Did you know that most gums contain plastic? To be more precise, the plastic polymers in gum are the same as those found in car tyres and plastic bottles. Yes, we were as shocked as you to hear this and so was the founding team of True Gum, a Copenhagen based company. They decided to make genuinely plant-based & plastic-free chewing gum. They went through close to 500 prototypes before landing on the perfect recipe. They call themselves the smallest gum factory in the world, but we prefer to say they’re the most impactful piece of gum we know!
