Description
Henna is the dried powdered leaves of the natural Henna plant (Lawsonia inermis) that has been used for thousands of years as a natural hair colour. Henna contains Lawsome, a dye commonly used for colouring hair. It can also condition, revitalise, nourish and bring out the natural beauty of your hair. It varies in colour in nature from red, brown to black (Indigo fera). These various shades of henna are blended to create the many colours of henna herb colours.

Directions
1. Wash hair and dry before colouring.
2. Mix contents with boiling water in a bowl to produce a smooth creamy paste. Leave mixture to cool slightly. One tub is a single application.
3. Spread evenly into hair using brush. Using your hands and wearing gloves, rub mixture in while still warm. Add more water if mixture is too thick. To avoid spots of Henna on the face and skin soak a piece of cotton in olive oil and apply to the sensitive areas; forehead ears and neck.
4. Leave mixture on hair until dry. Use dryer if available.
5. Rinse hair with warm or cold water. If deeper colour is required repeat application.
6. When hair grows, repeat application to the roots of the hair. Do not use henna on tinted or bleached hair. Hair tinted with metallic substances or any alkaline compounds will alter the final Henna colour. The ultimate colour of your hair depends on the original hair colour.
