Handling fees:

You may be charged a $5 handling fee when you have more than 5 items from the bulk food store in your cart. This is to cover labour costs, packaging costs and mailer costs including padding. Our web site will use conditional formulas (i.e. returning customer, customer total basket value etc) to determine whether we should charge you this fee. Other online bulk food stores may have these charges included in their retail price.

How we recycle:

We use almost all our cardboard for packing and padding. We recycle our excess cardboard via Cleanaway, soft plastic through Teracycle and Styrofoam via Greenmax. Excess organic scraps are going to our compost bins. We use biodegradable tape, stickers and home compostable bags for goods packaging.
