Prospan® for Children acts as an expectorant helping to thin and loosen mucus in the chest. Prospan® for Children helps break up the mucus in the chest and helps it to be expelled. Prospan® for Children assists in the relief of congested coughs associated with colds or bronchitis.
Prospan® for Children relieves congested coughs and improves expectoration.

How to use
Age Dosage Frequency
2-5 yrs: 2.5 mL 3 times per day
6-9 yrs: 5 mL 3 times per day
9-16 yrs: 5 mL 3 times per day
Adults: 5-7.5 mL 3 times per day
Australian Government regulation requires healthcare professional consultation when purchasing cough / cold medication for children under 2 years of age.
Warnings
Always read the label and follow the directions for use. Not to be used in children under 2 without medical advice. Contains sorbitol (385 mg/mL; 8.66 g/max. Dose 22.5 mL) and potassium sorbate. Products containing sorbitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea. If symptoms or coughing persists, talk to your health professional.
