Bulk Bio-Dynamic pearled barley is dehulled barley that has been steam processed to further remove the bran. It is polished, a process known as “pearling”. This barley is grown in Victorian Wimmera soils, grown without the use of chemicals and artificial fertilisers using sustainable biodynamic principles which improve the health of the soil. 

Bulk Bio-Dynamic pearled barley is also high in protein, B vitamins, and minerals such as iron and magnesium and is essential for digestive health, and can also help regulate blood sugar levels and lower cholesterol. 

Bulk Bio-Dynamic pearled barley has a mild, nutty flavour and a chewy texture, making it a versatile ingredient. It can be prepared similarly to rice or quinoa and goes well with vegetables, meats, and other grains.
