Description
Senna is most commonly known for its laxative properties and as a short term treatment for constipation.
May be useful for but not limited to:
- Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
- Haemorrhoids
- Constipation
Senna alexandrina (Senna)
Origin: Egypt
1 teaspoon per 1 cup of near-boiling water. Steep for 10 -15 mins. Sweeten with honey if desired.
Senna should not be taken during pregnancy or lactation.
