Antioxidants help reduce the effects of oxidative stress and free radicals. Red grape skin is rich in polyphenol antioxidants, including anthocyanins (which give red grapes their colour) and Resveratrol, a potent antioxidant.
Why use Bioactivated Resveratrol?
Resveratrol has poor bioavailability in the body, due to its rapid metabolism. This reduces its potency. The benefit of Bioactivated Resveratrol is that it contains a black pepper extract that is rich in piperine, a substance which inhibits the enzymes that break down resveratrol in the body, increasing its bioavailability and potency over 1000%.
Each capsule contains grape skin extract (standardised to contain 100mg resveratrol) with black pepper extract, bioactivated to equivalent of 1,000 glasses of red wine*. *per standard 150ml glass of red wine.
